As an OEM of natural gas engines, Waukesha relies on its network of channel partners for the sales of new equipment, OEM remanufactured equipment and parts (reUp), model conversions and upgrade kits and maintenance parts. Waukesha’s channel partners package, overhaul, repair, commission, and service Waukesha equipment globally.

As the Global Customs & Compliance Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating the smooth flow of goods through customs. Responsibilities & Duties
- Realization of potential savings through the optimization of the supply chain and the associated customs burden
- Preparing and submitting customs declarations and other required documentation
- Communicating with government agencies to resolve customs-related issues
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all customs transactions
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with customs regulations and the commerce control list
- Classifying and valuing imported goods in accordance with customs regulations and staying up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and procedures
- Certification as a Customs Specialist (e.g. Certified Customs Specialist or Customs Broker License)
- Experience with trade agreements (e.g. Free Trade Agreements, USMCA, etc.)
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, procedures and documentation requirements
- A degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in customs clearance and compliance
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance procedures
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software (Oracle)
- Competence to explain complex regulations in simple, clear language while maintaining a customer-first approach.
