About The Role
Revolution Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and oversee the fabrication, assembly, and refurb/rebuild operations for mobile power generation and hydraulic fracturing (frac) equipment. This role is responsible for managing daily production, driving process improvements, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in oilfield equipment manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing principles, and production planning.

About The Role
Revolution Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and oversee the fabrication, assembly, and refurb/rebuild operations for mobile power generation and hydraulic fracturing (frac) equipment. This role is responsible for managing daily production, driving process improvements, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in oilfield equipment manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing principles, and production planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
- Lead and supervise a team of 25-40 personnel in fabrication, assembly, testing, and refurb/rebuild operations.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 6S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis, to eliminate waste and optimize production constraints.
- Develop and execute production plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and customer commitments.
- Implement and monitor key performance metrics, tracking production efficiency, quality, and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations, fostering a strong culture of workplace safety.
- Oversee and manage the monthly shop budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to implement and oversee a preventive maintenance program for production equipment.
- Manage employee relations, including training, performance evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve production challenges and improve manufacturing processes.
- Support new product introduction and continuous process improvement efforts.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies across all manufacturing operations.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in oilfield equipment, power generation, or heavy industrial machinery assembly.
- Proven experience managing large-scale fabrication and assembly teams.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of fabrication, mechanical assembly, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Experience managing shop budgets and cost control measures.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Oracle ERP preferred) for production planning and scheduling.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments (engineering, supply chain, maintenance, and quality).
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing floor and office-based role, requiring frequent interaction with production teams.
- Exposure to welding, machining, electrical assembly, hydraulic systems, and equipment testing.
- Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required in designated areas.
