INNIO Waukesha Engine is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Waukesha Natural Gas Engines, founded in 1906 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. As an OEM of natural gas engines, Waukesha relies on its network of channel partners for the sales of new equipment, OEM remanufactured equipment and parts (reUp), model conversions and upgrade kits and maintenance parts. Waukesha’s channel partners package, overhaul, repair, commission, and service Waukesha equipment globally.
Position Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist will work with the commercial operations and sales team to maintain the sales opportunities pipeline in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce.com (SFDC). The Sales Support Specialist will also assist the sales team with the maintenance and creation of sales opportunities and customer support reports, new units’ orders management, new units’ orders bookings, maintenance of existing parts’ Material Stream Agreements (MSA) and related opportunities and orders.

In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Review New Units (NU) & reUp engine/block purchase orders
- Create and manage sales order acknowledgments
- Enter NU & reUp engine/block orders into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Oracle
- Enter any parts orders related with the NU orders in Oracle
- Maintain a forecast of MSA parts in SFDC
- Assist Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) with opportunity reports
- Assist with SFDC updates, revision & testing
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of customer satisfaction surveys and reports
- Support the sales team acting as interface with the factory
- Act as project manager for sales on complex opportunities that require additional pre-sales support
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Open to entry level candidates
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software
- SFDC experience a strong plus
- Oracle experience a strong plus
- Administrative experience in the manufacturing helpful but not necessary
- Project management experience and skills a plus
- High level of aptitude with basic math, logic and problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and follow-through skills
- Flexibility and the ability to prioritize
