Role Summary/Purpose:
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician - Machine Shop will be responsible for development and support of processes to machine and recondition components for large gas compression and power generation industrial engines while maintaining a safe work environment
Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day production support required by technicians for Manufacturing Engineering.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing engineers and production staff. This may include setting up equipment, troubleshooting machinery issues, and assisting with the implementation of new processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. This may involve analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and helping to implement changes.

- Maintain accurate records of all activities, including inspections, maintenance tasks, and process changes. This documentation is crucial for maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Train other staff members on how to use equipment and follow manufacturing processes correctly. This may involve creating training materials and conducting training sessions.
- Support purchase of necessary tooling and fixtures needed to optimize Reman parts processing.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5 years of CNC machining experience.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to meet physical demands of machining and handling large industrial engine components.
- Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40 lbs.
- Experience with Fanuc CNC controls a plus.
- Experience operating Makino CNC machines a plus.

- Associate's degree or certificate in manufacturing engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, or a related field a plus.
