What You’ll Do: You'll wear many hats as a Guest Service Agent! From welcoming guests and managing check-ins/check-outs to handling special requests (think: arranging a taxi, sending up a birthday surprise, or recommending the best local spots). You'll help ensure smooth operations, follow our 5/10 rule to keep every guest smiling, and be ready to jump in with a solution if any issues arise.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Greet guests with a big smile and warm welcome—follow the 5/10 rule and make their arrival special.
- Check guests in and out with ease, assign rooms, process payments, and assist with reservations or cancellations.
- Offer a little extra magic: Arrange special services, whether it's calling a cab, offering directions, or setting up a surprise for a guest’s big celebration.
- Keep calm and problem-solve: Handle any guest issues or conflicts with patience, a positive attitude, and a solutions-first mindset.
- Always look your best: Maintain a professional appearance, uniform, and nametag—you’re the face of the hotel!
- Stay organized and detail-oriented: Follow credit procedures, monitor guest accounts, and keep all info accurate (like payment details, names, etc.).
- Be the team player we love: Jump in wherever needed to make the guest experience seamless.
- Keep it clean and safe: Maintain a tidy workspace and report any safety issues right away.
- Bring the fun and friendliness to every interaction—with guests and teammates!
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- At least 1 year of customer service experience—hospitality experience is a plus!
- Someone who can juggle tasks like a pro and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English skills to communicate with guests and teammates.
- Computer-savvy folks who can quickly learn reservation and POS systems.
- A team player who works well independently with minimal supervision (you’ve got this!).
Physical Demands and Scheduling This is a lively role that will keep you on your feet, moving, and interacting. You’ll need to be ready for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with some lifting and long periods of standing.
