About the Task Force General Manager Role
This role assists with management transitions, acquisitions, and provides essential leadership at our properties. The Task Force General Manager will be required to travel extensively, approximately 40 weeks per year.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented demeanor in interactions with guests and hotel staff.
- Foster open communication between leaders and develop a high-quality staff aligned with our guest service standards.
- Manage financials and payroll to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local and state requirements for licensing and permits.
- Maintain security and safety systems, and perform regular inspections and maintenance.
- Drive property-wide improvements in staff training and development, focusing on top-quality guest services and consistent returns.
- Promote open lines of communication with managers, employees, and other departments.
- Proactively address issues and maintain a solution-focused approach to minimize disruptions.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to inform business decisions.
- Receive and address concerns from hotel guests and staff in a professional manner.
- Participate in Revenue Management and implement rate strategies.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager or 2 years for internal candidates.
- Multi-brand experience preferred.
- Select or Focused Service required.
- Full-Service experience helpful.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including Food and Beverage Operations.
