Inno-Pak is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of innovative, sustainable packaging solutions for prepared food applications serving the Foodservice, Grocery & Convenient Store markets. The Director of Finance will be a key member of the Inno-Pak leadership team delivering critical and timely financial planning, analysis, & reporting while also owning the accounting (close) and controllership responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Oversee and manage the company’s accounting and financial reporting processes, systems and policies.
Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting & analysis that includes financial statements and management reporting requirements – daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
Oversee the monthly accounting close process that includes the preparation, review and posting of journal entries in accordance with GAAP & company policies.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of account reconciliations with review.
Oversee the treasury function to ensure proper cash management through timely collection of cash and payment of invoices.
Coordinates the completion of the annual budget and facilitates the monthly forecasts.
Partners with functional teams to drive cost reductions, plant efficiencies, and working capital improvements.
Maintains a robust system of internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and safeguards company assets.
Support audits, ensuring timely response to audit requests and implementation of audit recommendations where warranted.
Supports tax reporting & filing requirements along with any local, state or federal regulatory information and / or other filings.
Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team, fostering professional growth and development. Implement training programs / projects to enhance team skills.
Work with other division finance leaders to ensure common standards and best practice sharing.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs and improve financial reporting accuracy within the finance function.
Work closely with department heads and senior leadership to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions, growth opportunities & operational improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS | REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA and / or CMA designation preferred.

15 years’ experience with a minimum of 5 years as a proven director of finance or similar role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

Solid knowledge of GAAP and experience with intercompany and foreign exchange transactions preferred.

Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with cost accounting and inventory management in a manufacturing setting.

Proficient with systems and capable of learning new systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
