Manager, Business Systems

We are seeking a Local highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Manager to join our team. This individual will serve as the technical lead for building, administering, and supporting critical business systems, including Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft Power Apps and other systems as needed. The Business Systems Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data systems and reports to meet business needs, ensuring seamless integration across platforms, and providing leadership in data engineering initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Administration & Support:

• Lead the administration and optimization of business systems, including Power BI, Salesforce, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft Power Apps and other systems as needed.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of these systems to ensure they meet the needs of business teams.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users across these platforms, ensuring smooth and effective usage.
• Ensure that systems are fully operational, secure, and up to date by applying patches, updates, and performance optimizations.

Data Engineering & Analytics:

• Build and manage data pipelines, ensuring that data is correctly ingested, transformed, and made available for analysis across different platforms.
• Use SQL, DAX, and M Language to transform and model data in Power BI, Power Apps, and other systems to create actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business teams to define reporting requirements, data sources, and analytical needs.
• Develop and implement complex data models and reporting structures that facilitate better decision-making.

Power BI Development & Reporting:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide key business insights and performance metrics.
• Write DAX queries and use M language to manipulate and transform data for reporting purposes.
• Ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and meaningful data for stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and business analysts.
• Optimize Power BI performance, including enhancing data refresh processes and optimizing query performance.

Salesforce Administration & Integration:

• Administer Salesforce to ensure that it meets the organization’s requirements, including customization of fields, workflows, and user profiles.
• Integrate Salesforce with other business systems (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Azure, etc.) to ensure seamless data flow and comprehensive reporting.
• Provide training and user support for Salesforce, ensuring that all teams are leveraging the platform effectively.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members, ensuring best practices for data management, reporting, and system integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver business applications and solutions using Microsoft Power Apps.

Automation & Optimization:

• Identify opportunities to automate processes and workflows across business systems using Microsoft Power Automate and other tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Continuously evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Develop scalable and efficient solutions to handle growing data volumes and increasing system demands.
• Engage and manage 3rd party developers as required to advance development, security, optimization and of systems as required.

System Security & Compliance:

• Ensure that systems comply with internal security policies, external regulations, and best practices.
• Implement access controls, audit logs, and other security measures to protect sensitive business data.
• Work across the organization to ensure data privacy and governance standards are upheld.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, or other relevant technologies a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business systems administration, with significant expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Power Apps.
• Proven experience in data engineering, including the use of SQL, DAX, and M language to manage, model, and report on data.
• Experience in integrating various business systems (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, Office 365) and ensuring data flows seamlessly across platforms.
• Strong background in creating and managing complex reports and dashboards, with a focus on providing actionable business insights.

Technical Skills:

• SQL: Strong proficiency in writing complex queries, managing data, and transforming it for analysis.
• DAX: Experience creating calculated columns, measures, and tables using DAX in Power BI.
• M Language: Proficiency in using M Language to manipulate and clean data in Power Query within Power BI and Power Apps.
• Deep experience with Power BI (including report creation, data modeling, and performance optimization).
• Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and integration with other business systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate to develop and automate business applications and workflows.
• Proficiency in Office 365 administration
