ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development and Client Relationship Management, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing the sales process for new business opportunities with institutional investors in North America to achieve business growth objectives. The role’s responsibilities include:
- Gaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of Innocap’s business and products.
- Understanding the strategic needs and objectives of potential clients to position Innocap effectively during the sales process.
- Creating and executing sales strategies to broaden the pool of potential clients.
- Identifying new trends and positioning Innocap as a viable solution.
- Analyzing competitors to highlight Innocap’s unique advantages to prospects.
- Fostering and maintaining relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Overseeing the sales process and developing any necessary custom materials.
- Scheduling sales meetings with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
- Leading the coordination of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Significant travel throughout North America, with occasional travel abroad as required.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- University degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Desired seniority level: 10 years of experience in financial services; minimum 5 years of sales experience within the alternative investments industry.
- Knowledge of asset servicing is required to effectively position Innocap in its role as platform manager.
- Proven track record of institutional sales success.
- A strong network of contacts with established relationships with U.S. pension plans, endowments, foundations, insurance companies and consultants.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a self-starter, and consistently demonstrating initiative.
- Ability to think and act proactively, and multi-task in a stimulating environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
