About the Role -
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP or HR Head) to join our US team. Reporting to the Vice President/Head of HR, the HRBP will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. This individual will provide comprehensive HR support to our US operations, ensuring that our team is equipped with the resources and environment needed to thrive.
Responsibilities -
1.Strategic HR Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s growth and
objectives.
Align HR initiatives with the overall business strategy, ensuring that HR functions are
proactive and value-added.
2.Talent Acquisition and On-boarding:
Lead the recruitment process to attract top-tier talent, with a focus on roles such as
medical, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and business development.
Design and implement an effective onboarding program to ensure new hires are
integrated smoothly into the company culture and operations.
3.Performance Management:
Implement and manage performance evaluation systems to ensure alignment with
company goals and individual development.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance
management processes and best practices.
4.Employee Relations and Engagement:
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by building strong relationships with
employees at all levels.
Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, ensuring compliance with
company policies and local labor laws.
Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and
retention.
5.Culture build up and compliance:
Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with US labor laws and
regulations.
Facilitate and support to build up an entrepreneurship, high performance and diversity
culture in US team
Manage the compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and
aligned with market standards which is a important part of Pay For Performance culture.
Utilize data-driven approaches to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
Qualifications -
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience in biotech or MNC pharma in US market.
- Proven track record in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills.
- Attention to detail and good judgement.
Required Skills -
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust
and credibility.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation in HR practices.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus but not required.
