INNOCEAN is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Management Supervisor to join our agency team supporting Hyundai Motor America. This role is perfect for a strategic executor who thrives at the intersection of content, culture, and client service.
As part of the Hyundai social team, you’ll lead the daily execution and oversight of the brand’s social presence, ensuring flawless management of content calendars, publishing, community engagement, and analytics reporting. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between internal agency teams (creative, strategy, media, influencer) and client stakeholders to deliver work that’s timely, effective, and culturally resonant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Hyundai’s organic social media presence across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, Threads), maintaining a consistent tone, visual identity, and platform-appropriate approach.
- Own and maintain the social content calendar, managing cross-functional collaboration, internal reviews, and client approvals.
- Serve as the go-to agency liaison for day-to-day client communication around social publishing, content rollout, community management, and reporting.
- Partner with creative teams to ensure content is optimized for each platform and ladders up to brand strategy.
- Oversee community management execution in partnership with internal teams and tools—monitoring sentiment, flagging key opportunities or issues, and ensuring Hyundai is engaging authentically.
- Lead monthly and campaign reporting, pulling insights in partnership with analytics and paid media teams to inform future strategy.
- Stay current on social media trends, cultural moments, platform updates, and competitive activity; bring proactive recommendations to the client.
- Support and mentor junior team members, helping them grow their social expertise and agency acumen.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–7 years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 3 years in an agency environment.
- This role requires 2-3 days on site at our beautiful Huntington Beach, CA offices.
- Proven experience managing a brand’s social presence across multiple platforms.
- Deep understanding of publishing tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Basecamp, Meta Suite) and social listening/reporting platforms.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate social strategies clearly to clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail—able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working with or alongside creative and media teams to bring content to life.
- Collaborative spirit and positive attitude—you’re calm under pressure and solutions-oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Automotive experience or passion for the auto industry.
- Experience with influencer integration, talent management, or PR crossover.
- Familiarity with multicultural or DE&I-focused marketing strategies.
- Crisis or high-volume social engagement experience.

SALARY RANGE: $108,600 to $133,000
Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: years of experience, client, training, and transferable skills.
