Product Processing Associate
The position is an important member of a team to pre-screen and optimize conditions for new product launch. The position works with antibodies and reagents for research areas including immunology, neuroscience, stem cells, and cell biology. This position is lab based and will work independently in a team setting to perform all essential functions that related to antibody production, conjugation, and purification. It requires the ability to follow SOPs, complete batch records, and finish assignments in a timely manner. This position will also perform trouble-shooting, and also responsible for assisting the supervisor with laboratory operations and completing production requirements before due dates.

1. Have basic understanding of antibody structure, conjugation, and purification
2. Ability to follow SOPs, forms, and batch records
3. Ability to perform column chromatography, use spectrophotometer, UV detector and fraction collector
4. Use of ERP/Excel database to execute production orders
5. Perform all essential functions related to antibody purification including centrifugation and making buffers
6. Able to meet important deadlines and due dates and the ability to multi-task
7. Must be able to work independently within a team-oriented environment
8. Maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies
9. Adheres to lab operations protocol and antiseptic techniques
· Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related Science.
· Minimum 6 months relevant lab experience related to protein and antibody production, purification, or conjugation or equivalent academic experience
· Skills required: Follow SOP and batch records, prepare buffers, dilution, dialysis, centrifugation, column chromatography, use of balance, Spectrophotometer, pipetting, UV detector, agarose gel electrophoresis, use of pH meter, ERP/MRP database knowledge or ability to understand similar computer systems
· Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
