Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Lead Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices, combined with strong leadership capabilities to drive cloud initiatives. This role requires a hands-on expert who can design, implement, and optimize AWS solutions while collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Chief Enterprise Architect, CIO org stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architectural Leadership :
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS cloud solutions aligned with business goals.
- Provide strategic guidance on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
- Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes across multiple teams.
- Hands-on Technical Execution :
- Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and others.
- Implement DevOps best practices including CI / CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards within AWS environments.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :
- Work closely with the Chief Enterprise Architect and executive leadership to align cloud initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Performance Optimization and Monitoring :
- Optimize cloud workloads for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability.
- Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure system health and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with support teams.
Required Qualifications :
Mandatory : AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
