What are the responsibilities and job description for the PAYROLL COORDINATOR position at Innophos?
Innophos is seeking a Payroll Coordinator in our corporate office in Cranbury, NJ. The Payroll Coordinator will process US and Canadian payrolls on a biweekly / monthly basis. Process and remit wage withholding orders. Responds appropriately and resolves payroll requests from employees and managers. Communicate with employees to answer questions and / or resolve payroll related concerns. Partner with HR to ensure system changes are posted properly in regard to employee pay.
This role offers an optional hybrid schedule : 3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing Multi State US payrolls and Canadian payrolls on a biweekly / monthly basis to include auditing, reconciling, and submitting payments to third party vendors
- Support monthly, quarterly and year end reporting as required, including T-4 and W-2 reporting
- Perform regular payroll and tax reconciliation with each payroll processing
- Audit payroll files and reports for accuracy
- Respond to inquiries regarding employment verification
- Maintains confidentiality and protects employee data
- Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation
- Responds to information requests and provides reports as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Assist with special projects as requested
