Onsite/Local EHR Automation Test Lead/Manager with SAAS, UFT, SQL, ALM, Selenium, UTF, API testing, HL7, FHIR, Load/performance testing experience

Location: Austin, TX (HHSC)
Duration: 3 Months
Position is ONSITE at the location listed above (NO REMOTE WORK). Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

Skills:
9 Required Experience in writing and executing test cases as well as creating test plans.
9 Required Knowledge of SAAS product testing, software usability concepts and software development lifecycle
9 Required Experience in managing the testing process with creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test data for manual testing and automated scripts.
9 Required Ability to generate manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
9 Required Experience in writing/testing scripts in electronic medical records practice management, clinical, interface and billing workflows within an EHR application.
9 Required Strong QA automation testing and scripting experience using UFT (unified testing tool).
9 Required Strong knowledge of complex SQL query writing and database validation.
9 Required Experience in generating manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
9 Required Experience working on different types of testing : e.g. unit, integration, regression, smoke , user acceptance, system, stress and load/performance.
9 Required Ability to assist by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems or questions about programs. Effectively organize and present complex technical information both orally and in writing.
9 Required Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to understand requirements, identify potential issues, define testing score, and ensure smooth implementation of EHR. Coordinating testing activities and data collection
9 Required Experience in using automated testing tools such as, Katalon, Selenium, ALM, UTF, etc.
9 Required Experience in developing detailed test cases covering various scenarios user roles within the EHR system.
9 Required Experience in creating metrics to measure application quality and defect tracking.
9 Required Experience in mentoring and training QA team members on E HR testing methodologies, best practices, data migration testing and workflows.
4 Preferred Experience in conducting API testing and automation
3 Preferred Knowledge and experience working on HL7 FHIR is preferred.
3 Preferred Knowledge of object oriented programming
3 Preferred Knowledge of Load/performance testing
3 Preferred Experience working in state agency

Job Description:
The role of the software test manager is to lead the testing team. The Test Manager plays a central role in the Team. The Test Manager takes full responsibility for the project s success. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.
QA3 Engineer will be responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of test scripts for both automated and manual testing of EHR applications. Experience preparing UAT test cases aligning them with business requirements conducting walk through with stakeholders to ensure clarity, Tracks test case execution and provide reporting.
Experience in writing and executing test cases as well as creating test plans.
Knowledge of SAAS product testing, software usability concepts and software development lifecycle.
Experience in managing the testing process with creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test data for manual testing and automated scripts.
Experience in writing/testing scripts in electronic medical records practice management, clinical, interface and billing workflows within an EHR application.
Ability to generate manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
Strong QA automation testing and scripting experience using UFT (unified testing tool)
Strong knowledge and experience with ALM Test management tool and JIRA.
Strong knowledge of complex SQL query writing and database validation.
Proficient in defect tracking and management using tools such as ALM and Jira.
Knowledge and experience working on HL7 FHIR is preferred.
Experience in generating manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
Create metrics to measure application quality and defect tracking.
Experience working on different types of testing : eg unit, integration, regression, smoke , user acceptance, system, stress and load/performance.
Ability to work under pressure under tight time constraints.
