Innospec is adding an experienced Lab Technician Intern to our Customer Technical Services team in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position will be responsible for performing analytical testing in support of sales, customers, and field operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In order to succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily, in addition to other assigned responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain sensitive pieces of laboratory testing equipment to ensure laboratory is able to maintain high sample throughput.
- Follow written test procedures (ASTM, S.O.P., etc.) to ensure consistency in sample testing.
- Accurately documents information by maintaining daily logs; equipment record books; an organized laboratory notebook.
- Analyze results collected and ensure data is reported in a timely manner.
- Able to communicate results to Sales Team, Services Techs and Supervisors via written reports, oral reports, etc. as required
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma OR Equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a STEM related course or recently completed is a plus

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be local to the OKC metro area
