Job Description

1st shift : 6am- 3 : 30pm Monday thru Thursday, 6am- 10am Fridays

POSITION SUMMARY : The Assembler produces components by assembling parts and kits.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (includes essential job functions) :

Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
Complies with policies and guidelines.
Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Technical Supervisor.
Maintain safe and orderly work stations, storage and staging areas.
Assist in production as needed.
Follow or maintain maintenance (if needed) per schedule. Report to supervisor.
Other details as required.

EDUCATION :

High School Diploma

or GED equivalent

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS :

General computer skills.

Excellent forklift skills both electric and propane.

Must have good material handling equipment skills.

Strong ability to multitask in a fast paced, detail oriented manufacturing environment.

Metal fabrication experience preferred but not required.

Verbal and written communication skills required.

Strong organizational skills

Must have strong math skills.

Good inter-plant customer service skills a must.

Must be able to work independently and in a team atmosphere.

Must be self-motivated.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must be able to stand in an upright position for continuous periods of time.

May be required to climb ladders or work in overhead areas.

Employee is required to walk throughout the facility during the course of the workday.

Must be able to lift and / or carry up to 75 lbs.

Must be able to pull and / or push up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.

May be required to bend forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine.
