Responsibilities:
- Billing and Coding Claims for inpatient and outpatient services
- Work Aging Claims appeals and follow up
- Data Entry
- Medical Records request for processing of claims
- Scanning EOB's and ERA's
- Returning patient billing phone calls
- Overseeing and working rejected claims from Clearing house
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical billing and coding minimum of 3 years experience
- Insurance Knowledge (Required)
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to work under pressure
- ICD 10 Knowledge ( Required)
- CPT coding Knowledge ( Required)
- AAPC Certification for Billing and Coding preferred but not required
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Clearing house Knowledge
- E-clinical Works preferred but not required
