Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LPN Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The LPN Charge Nurse will play a pivotal role in overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice. Local rates apply within 80 miles. Must have active MN license to apply, no temp licenses.

Weekend Coverage/Rotation (i.e. every other, every 3rd): Every other

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Conduct physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including venipuncture procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for all patients.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices in acute care settings.
- Offer specialized care in areas such as dementia management, cardiac catheterization, mammography, and medical-surgical nursing.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in a nursing role with a focus on acute care settings.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical-surgical practices.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is preferred.
- Experience with health coaching methodologies is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture and other clinical procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient interaction.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
