A client of Innova Solutions is looking for a Database Developer

As a Database Developer, you will:

• Must have Proficiency in Oracle database query development and performance tuning.
  Expertise in database cloning and replication, with hands-on experience in Oracle Golden Gate or similar replication technologies.
  Strong experience in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting database clones for high-availability and disaster recovery purposes.
  Extensive knowledge of data replication mechanisms, including Oracle Golden Gate for high-volume data environments.
  Experience with real-time replication in trading systems, ensuring data consistency and minimizing latency across multiple environments.
  Experience in evaluating, implementing, and integrating emerging database technologies (e.g. Cloud-based solutions).
  Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for database versioning and deployments
  Deep understanding of SQL query optimization, indexing strategies, partitioning, and performance tuning.
  Familiarity with query profiling tools (e.g., SQL Profiler, Oracle AWR) and techniques to diagnose performance bottlenecks.
  Ability to improve latency and throughput for complex queries, particularly in real-time trading systems.
  Prior experience working in equity derivatives or related financial instruments, with a deep understanding of the specific data models, risk calculations, and trade lifecycle.
  Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, high-pressure trading environments.
  Experience analyzing large datasets, understanding trends, and improving data efficiency for trading operations.
  Ability to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  
  Certifications (Optional)
  - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or similar certifications in database management.
  - Certification in Oracle Golden Gate or similar data replication technology.
  - Certifications in cloud database technologies (AWS Certified Database - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator).
  
  Additional Skills that are helpful but not essential.
  An understanding of Equity derivative business, VPD and replication to multiple target database instances.
  Working experience with Exadata architecture and real time messaging using Golden Gate
