Infrastructure Cabling Technician

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Infrastructure Cabling Technician.

Position Type: Full time - Contract

Duration: 18 months

Location: Phoenix AZ 85004

As an Infrastructure Cabling Technician, you will:

Requirements:

Perform skilled infrastructure/structured cabling work in the installation, service and maintenance, repair and alteration of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling and other various low voltage cabling systems. Complete physical installations and removal of structured cabling components, cabinets, pathway systems (cable tray), move equipment, racks, and related communications infrastructure materials.

Possesses the following tools

• Punch tool with 110 termination blades.
• Toner & Probe
• Snips
• Multiple size screw drivers
• Torpedo Level
• Cordless Drill with bits
• Wrenches
• Socket Set
• Sharpie Pens
• If they are on a construction site also will need hard hats and safety glasses and steel/composite toed boots.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in the following
• Perform skilled Structured cabling installer (CAT6, CAT6a, 25pr, MM/SM fiber installation).
• Properly terminate Fiber (anaerobic and UniCam).
• Interpret the job plan and scope of work
• Troubleshoot wiring, extend circuits and perform 1MB, T1, DSL cross connects
• Responds to emergency calls in the event of a system failure
• Install VOIP phones (cisco, Avaya)
• Completion of break fix & moves adds changes tickets
• Preform IDF cross connects (switch to workstation).
• Console into router/switch to obtain port information.
• Rack and stack devices
• Basic proficiency with outlook and excel
• Customer facing
• Able to work independently
• Strong work ethic

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Salary Range*: $22 - $25 Per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
