Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a < Mainframe Analyst/Developer >
Position type: Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Plano, TX
As a Mainframe Analyst/Developer, you will:
Looking for a candidate who is well versed in building level integrated testing environments on IBM Mainframes. The team member will be required to interact with application teams, architects, governance, and audit for defining the strategies required to onboard new applications. They will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations, processes, and documentation to address product vulnerabilities. They will be reporting daily Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to help drive the success of projects.
Mainframe - Test Data Management Analyst
Interview Process: One video interview preferably morning times 8 AM - 10 AM CST.
Hybrid - Onsite 3 days as week required
Top 3 skills:
1. Minimum of 8 years of IBM Mainframe exposure using JCL, Cobol, DB2/IMS, EZETRIEVE/SAS, VSAM
2. Good knowledge on MF file structures along with DB2 RDBMS & SQL.
3. Exposure to sanitization or data masking techniques
Education Requirement: Bachelors degree in business information management or equivalent
Required Skills:
Experienced in working with IMS and DB2 databases.
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels
Ability to work closely with Developers and Architects to strategize and drive solutions to complex requirements
Familiarity with dataflow structure within a complex environment
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting, and SharePoint skills
Strong Analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy
Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
Experience with Agile project methodologies
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience in one or more of the desired skills is considered a plus
2. Knowledgeable in NPI/HRCI Data Sanitization concepts
3. Familiarity with Integrated and Independent Release management testing processes
Scope of work:
Performance fine tuning of Data Selection & Refresh/Infusion process
Monitoring System Performance of internal tools and procedures
Debugging and Troubleshooting of Data Issues
Catching up with EOL items like System Upgrades & Patches
Documentation and Reporting of day to day Activity and Deliverables with Issues, Concerns & Progress
Collaboration with Teams
Lot of client interactions with external and internal stake holders and partners
Data Capture from Production / Refresh / Infusions in to LLEs
