Network Technician-l

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Network Technician.

Position type: Full-time - Contract
Duration: 12 Months Contract position with possible extension(s) or hire.
Location: Secaucus, NJ 07094
Shift: Thurs - Sunday 10:00pm - 8:00am / Thurs to Mon 8-4PM

As a Network Technician, you will:
The patching cabling between network equipment and customer s network
The installation of power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet
The installation, troubleshooting and de-installing network equipment
Install/swap out devices (e.g., phone, computers, cables, boards, edge routers, switches etc.)
Install, troubleshoot, and de-install Network General remote Sniffers
Complete all hard and complex Move, Add Change (MAC) requests within the defined service levels
Act as interface between customer s associates and management
Provide hardware break-fix services for network infrastructure
Perform onsite call-through, data, voice, website and security testing
Perform back-up testing to ensure all systems are connected to the customer s network as directed
Support carrier testing of circuits.

Requirements:
Requires previous experience working in a Large Data center (minimum of 100 cabinets up to 200 cabinets)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data communications
Rack and Stack of network equipment
Fiber patching, cleaning, and Testing
Break Fix of network and cabling infrastructure
Proficient in utilizing technical tools such as Sniffers, BERT testers, cable testers, and fiber testers.
Basic knowledge of local and wide area networking (WLAN/LAN)
Familiar with 66 Block and 110 Block cross connect procedures

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Salary Range*: $25 - $28 Per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
