PCB Layout Engineer

An Innova Solutions Client is immediately hiring for an PCB Layout Engineer

Position type: Full Time

Location: Warren, MI (Onsite)

As an PCB Layout Engineer, you will:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Expertise on Automotive, FlexPCB, HDI, Mother Board, Tablet PC, Laptop, Mobile, Evaluation board for ICs, Telecom boards, Server, Automotive, Networking, Backplanes & Aeronautics/ Space application boards
• Good understanding of Datasheets, Library creation for Complex Logical and Footprints.
• IPC Standards for Footprint Creation and Layout process
• Exposure to all relevant IPC standards & MIL Standard design practices
• PCB Designing flow from Library creation to Gerber release to FAB.
• RF Layout Design methods, Placement & Routing
• High Current & Power PCB Designing knowledge
• High speed Constraints setting and routing. Should have worked on High-Speed signal routing for28Ghz or more.
• Hands-on experience in Designing High-speed, multilayer PCB designs
• Auto-routing the critical/ non-critical signals
• DFx (DFA, DFM & DFT) checks, preparing ERF rules based on PCBA capabilities.
• Should have hands-on expertise on standard High-Speed Digital, Analog & Mixed signal Design viz Infiniband,
• IOH, QPI,HSSI, DDR, PCI-e, XAUI , SATA, FSB, USB, Ethernet, Optical interface etc
• DRC and Post-processing (Gerber Settings, FAB & Assembly files generation)
• Quality checks for Footprints, PCB Layout file, FAB & Assembly files
• Interaction with Design, Mechanical, SI, PI, Thermal, FAB, Assembly house for Clarification and Reviews
• Good communication skills and should be able to handle/ lead projects independently

EDA Tools:

• Mentor Xpedition (MUST have) , EDM Design Cockpit Flow,
• Valor (Must), GC-Preview or Gerber tools for reviews

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $110 - $105 K Per Year.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
