Snowflake Architect/SME/DBA

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Snowflake Architect/SME/DBA:

Position type: Contract to hire

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL (3 days onsite/2 days remote)

As a Snowflake Architect/SME/DBA, you will:

• Provide development effort for projects like Datamart s, Client Analytics.
• Administrate Snowflake accounts and support Snowflake control plane to enable Snowflake tenants workloads.
• Work in an Agile methodology to provide expertise and share the best software development practices with the team.
• Collaborate with product owners, quality engineers and cross functional teams to provide solutions and solve design and architectural problems.
• Ability to do quick proof of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features.

Must haves:

• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Expertise on Snowflake is a must and should be able to administrate Snowflake DB and should know Snowflake Information metadata schemas and Snowflake internals.
• CI/CD DevOps and work experience with Gitlab and automation.
• Integrate snowflake with different BI tools.
• SQL experience.
• Distributed cloud services (preferably Azure).
• Distributed data loading (Kafka, Snowpark, and Spark).
• Cost modeling, framework, use cases for different lines of business
• Prefer Azure experience
• Senior role - must have experience on the Snowflake Administration
• Access issue
• Query performing
• CI/CD Gitlab
• Code in Python would be a - must have Python
• Data Engineering/DBA
• Stored procedures
• Working knowledge of relational and in-memory databases: Oracle, Vertica, and Hazelcast.
• Must be well versed with authentication and authorization in cloud services.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

• AI/ML experience
