Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer

Title: Software Engineer

Job type: Fulltime/Contract on W2

Location: Des Moines Iowa (3 days in-office/2 days remote)

Duration: 19 Months

As a Software Engineer, you will :

• Develop, configure, and deploy IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) applications to automate business processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework.
• Write and execute comprehensive Java unit tests.
• Contribute to cloud-native application development and deployment (e.g., TAS, OCP, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
• Analyze and troubleshoot moderately complex software engineering issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Adhere to established coding standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies.

An ideal candidate should have:

• Java development experience.
• Java unit test case development experience.
• Spring Boot application development experience.
• IBM BAW workflow automation application development and configuration experience.
• Cloud-native application development experience (one of TAS, OCP, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS).
• Experience with Angular or similar UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Tomcat application server.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and Oracle databases.
• Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka).
• Cloud certifications from major providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with cloud-native microservices development based on Event-Driven Architecture.
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Experience with application non-functional requirements (monitoring, logging, distributed tracing).
• Experience with Monolith to Microservices decomposition.
• Experience with automated functional testing using BDD techniques.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $53- $58 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
