Position type: Contract with possible extension.

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
As a Sr. Security Engineer, you will:
- Participate in vendor risk management activities including third-party risk assessments, gap analysis, contract reviews, vendor breach and termination activities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor vendor performance.
- Perform data analytics and create meaningful reports to effectively communicate outcomes from vendor management activities, relating security, compliance, and governance-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify and communicate findings of non-compliance with Client Information Security Standards, tracking remediation or acceptable levels of risk.
- Continuously improve the Vendor Risk Management Program by identifying opportunities and leading implementation activities.
- Provide guidance to the business, Strategic Sourcing, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of Vendor Risk Management (VRM) requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in interpreting VRM requirements, enhancing awareness of operational risks stemming from vendor failures or poor performance.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the vendor risk management field.
- Experience with information technology security programs, audits, controls, and third-party risk management.
- Ability to identify and assess IT security controls against Client policies, standards, and Federal/State regulatory requirements, and to communicate identified gaps.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related business software.
The ideal candidate will have: GRC, Risk Management and compliance experience.

Pay Range*: <$56-61/hr. on W2>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
