Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a(n) Tester

Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Round Rock, TX

As a(n) PMO Analyst you will:

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Design:
• Analyze and understand product requirements and technical specifications.
• Design, write, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Manual Testing:
• Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, performance, usability, and security.
• Report and document defects, issues, and software anomalies.
• Automated Testing:
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression, performance, and load testing.
• Bug Reporting & Tracking:
• Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Regression Testing:
• Conduct regression testing after each software release to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports to communicate test progress, results, and coverage.
• Provide input into release notes, user documentation, and training materials related to software quality.
• Performance & Security Testing (Optional, if applicable):
• Conduct performance, stress, and security testing to ensure the application performs well under varying conditions.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with new testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes and efficiency.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60k - $75K/ Annum
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
