Job Description
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a UI / UX Developer.
Position type : Full-time - Contract
Duration : 12 Months
Location : San Antonio Texas 78215
As a UI / UX Developer, you will :
- Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and / or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript / Java codebase ensuring the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs standards.
- Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & development, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects.
- Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA / 508 Accessibility standards & compliance.
- Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements.
- Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research on new tools and methods as needed.
- Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups.
- Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews.
- Hands-on development on front end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, Jquery etc).
- Provide responsive websites apps development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates.
- Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W3 standards for HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- Collaborate with business analysts, senior developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements in a SDLC process.
- Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and / or integration of frontend designs into the JS / Java codebase.
- Participate in conceptualizing, prioritizing, and creating strategies for the product UX.
- Develop well-structured and maintainable code that follows the best practices and industry standards.
- Work with team members to develop UI prototypes as necessary and validate ideas with a data-driven approach.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
