Sr. Software Architect

Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a Sr. Software Architect in Kansas City MO!

• Job will be mostly onsite, local candidates are required
• Ideal candidates will have background in SDLC, ERP, EHR, CRM etc., and will have had previous hands on coding experience
• Previous billing systems, claims, insurance, healthcare, EDI experience would be preferred
• The role will be part of standing up a team, building out a brand new team on a brand new initiative!

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver large-scale product and solution development engagements, managing priorities and client commitments.
• Analyze data to define architectural requirements at the project level.
• Lead discussions on technical and business architecture directions.
• Develop a cohesive roadmap and implementation plan to bridge current and future states.
• Participate in architecture governance and ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and standardization requirements.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to support project development and operational activities.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to communicate solution roadmaps effectively.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and motivation to team members.
• Be available for on-call support outside of standard business hours as needed.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or MIS.
• 7 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of experience with Agile full lifecycle development, including technical leadership.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to launch.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of business operations and communication standards.

Preferred:

• Expertise in capacity and performance analysis of complex systems.
• Proficiency in database architecture, including relational models, SQL, and major platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Postgres, and MySQL.
• Technical skills in environments Postgres, .NET, React, GitHub, Java, and AWS.
• Familiarity with physical, virtual, and cloud deployment strategies.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
