Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for an Application Security Analyst
Position type : Full time Contract
Duration : 10 months
Location : Reston, VA (Hybrid)
As an Application Security Analyst, you will :
- Conduct manual application security assessments using dynamic and static methodologies
- Understanding of a broad range of application security issues, mitigation strategies, and common application security controls
- Knowledge of common web security testing tools (e.g., Burp, OWASP Zap)
- Experience performing source code reviews and knowledge of secure coding best practices
- Ability to appropriately determine and communicate the risk associated with assessment findings
- Author assessment deliverables that fully detail the technical execution, core deficiencies, business impact, and realistic remediation strategies
- Previous software development experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Work Experience : Min 6 years' experience required.
The ideal candidate will have – BURP, OWASP, Fortify, Java
