Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you will :

Responsible for all financial transactions and reporting of financial position to President and board. This includes management of all payments, employee payroll, monthly financial statements, yearend accounting process, complying with audit requests, preparation of annual budgets and ad-hoc reporting as requested. Leads all financial audit requests and processes. Responsible for the integrity of the financial information. Performs analysis and makes recommendations. Assists President with administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have :

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

A combination of education, experience and training may be considered in lieu of a formal degree

Prior experience closing monthly financials, preferably in a manufacturing business

In depth understanding of accounting principles and processes

Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Experience working in an ERP System, with experience with E2 a plus

Significant detail orientation

Analytical and forward thinking

Ability to work within prescribed timelines

Advanced technical skills

Ability to work in a team and lead a small accounting team

Preferred :

2 years’ experience in a Controller or related position

Leadership experience or training

Budget creation and tracking experience

Experience working with E2

Experience working with PowerBI

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Preparing financial reports, sales, expense and overhead analysis monthly

Participate in board discussions, monthly financial reporting and other regular interaction with the President and board meeting

Ensuring that the financial records are accurate, including the year-end inventory count

Ensuring that every expense is properly documented

Monitoring Accounts Receivable for delinquent accounts

Ensuring that there is fiscal responsibility within the firm’s operations

Monitoring Accounts Payable

Benefits Administrator

Works with CPA firm on annual audit and tax preparation

Financial software administration

Manages banking relationship, including bank accounts and debt facilities

Oversees administrative tasks, including ensuring company certifications are maintained and renewed on a timely basis

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Salary Range

• 80k to $100k Per annum.
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
