Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Patient service Representative. Position type : Full-time, Contract Duration : 3 Month Location : Dallas TX As a Patient service Representative, you will : Provides a range of entry-level intake and associated administrative services pertaining to patients being admitted to the hospital and / or treatment facility or receiving outpatient services to include obtaining demographic, insurance, and medical information; collecting co-pays and deposits; scheduling follow-up appointments; and ordering diagnostic tests as directed. WHAT IS EXPECTED (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)Interviews patients to obtain demographic and insurance information necessary for medical record identification and bill processing.Inputs patient registration information into computer registration system and verifies accuracy of information.Provides accurate patient, medical, financial, or procedural information to patients Discusses financial arrangements and issues with patients and / or family members.Facilitates patient and information flow by directing patients to correct locations, arranging patient transport, answering incoming telephone calls, and providing clerical support.Prepares required forms orders and maintains inventory of supplies as required.The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.Competently perform all the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, demonstrated commitment to effective customer service delivery, integrity, and work productively as a member of a team or work group are basic requirements of all positions in the Organization. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge of patient registration procedures and documentation.Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures and documentation.Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.Skill in preparing and maintaining patient records.Interpersonal and customer service skills.Verbal and written communication skills.Obtain patient demographic information and verify insurance eligibility.Candidate must have 2 years of medical field exp to be considered The ideal candidate will have : Medical exp, epic exp, insurance knowledge.
