As Scientist , you will :
Job Description : Ideal candidate : Looking for someone with a PhD or MS and experiences in gene editing, cell line generation and cell-based assay development. Candidates who are perhaps early in their career and are looking for a stable learning opportunity. Preference for candidates with a broad skill set (e.g., molecular biology, cell biology) rather than a highly specific focus (e.g., a single therapeutic area like ovarian cancer)
LD&C BioAssay CBA-ATO needs new talent with experiences / potentials in cell line generation, assay and technology development. We propose to hire a contract worker with PhD to expand our capabilities.
Project Scope :
1. The development and optimization of novel cell-based assays ensure successful implementation and routine execution of these assays to support HTS, lead optimization, and mechanism-of-action studies for promising therapeutic targets.
2. Design, implement, and optimize gene-editing workflows in a manner that enables development and evaluation of cell-based functional assays supporting therapeutic target screening or lead optimization studies.
3. Investigate, identify, develop, and optimize new methods / techniques to generate reliable and reproducible data promptly.
4. Semi-independently plan and implement experiments, adapt readily to changing project needs and develop sophisticated problem-identification and problem resolution skills.
5. Maintain proficiency with the latest scientific literature and rationale surrounding drug targets and be an active contributor to the interpretation of results in group discussions.
6. Adherence to good laboratory conduct, documentation practices, and safety guideline

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :
Pay Range
- 33.00-$38.00 per hour.
- Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
