As a Training Specialist you will :
Training Plan Development :
- Develop comprehensive training plans based on organizational objectives, project requirements, and employee feedback.
- Identify training needs through job analysis, skills gap assessments, and consultation with stakeholders. This may include participation in UAT to understand the newly designed platform and the features and functionality that will be important to certain end user groups.
Training Methodology and Design :
Curriculum development : Assisting in creating structured and engaging training materials aligned with user needs and system functionalities.Learning objectives : Defining clear and measurable learning outcomes for each training module.Training delivery methods :
Recommending appropriate training formats (classroom, online, blended) based on audience and content.Evaluation methods :
Designing pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge acquisition.Ensure training programs comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.Stay up to date with industry’s best practices in training and development.Training Materials Development :
Template creation : Providing templates for training materials (handouts, slides, job aids) to ensure consistency.Content development support : Assisting in writing clear and concise training content.Multimedia integration : Create and edit videos from screen recordings and narrations.Interactive Learning Module Development : Proficiency in multimedia and video creation tools, including Synthesia, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other similar software, is required.Assessment design : Create and incorporate quizzes, simulations, and other interactive elements.Visual design : Creating visually appealing and engaging training materials.Adopt content to work with ACGMEs current Learning Platform.Training Delivery Support :
Trainer coaching : Providing guidance on effective training delivery techniques.Analytics Tools Proficiency : Capability to quickly learn and teach others how to use analytics platforms, specifically PowerBI. This includes understanding data visualization, report creation, and dashboard development.Training logistics : Assisting with scheduling, resource allocation, room booking, and equipment setup.Technical support : Offering troubleshooting assistance during training sessions.Evaluation and Improvement :
Training evaluation tools : Developing surveys and questionnaires to gather feedback on training effectiveness.Data analysis : Analyzing training data to identify areas for improvement.Knowledge retention assessment : Measuring long-term knowledge retention through follow-up assessments.Training program optimization : Recommending changes to training content, delivery, or support based on evaluation results.Implement continuous improvement practices, adjusting training content and delivery methods based on feedback and outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement :
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as HR, project managers, and department heads, to identify training needs and develop tailored programs.Communicate training plans and schedules to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.Develop Internal and external communication about upcoming training events and dates impacting stakeholders.Resource Management :
Maintain a library of training resources and ensure they are up-to-date and accessible to employees.Coordinate with external vendors and trainers as needed, ensuring high-quality content and delivery.The ideal candidate will have :
5-10 years of experience in training and development or a related field.5-10 years of experience in creating training content and delivering training sessions.Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in training content development tools and e-learning platforms.Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with principles of adult learning, instructional design, training techniques and creating engaging materials, whether for in-person or virtual learning.The aptitude to quickly research new technologies and applications, particularly in the analytics domain, and to stay updated with the latest educational technologies and training techniques.Ability to select the best communication channels and practices for the greatest impact.Quickly adapt to a complex organization with multiple layers of stakeholders (Internally and externally) and multiple content approvers.Strong computer and technical skills, including intermediate expertise with the Microsoft Suite of software as well as a demonstrated aptitude for learning new specialized software tools.Strong professional, interpersonal, customer service, and oral communication skills with all levels of staff and management.Other considerations :
Your experience should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, ability to self-manage, and strong empathy as you work with a diverse audience.EDUCATION
