Job Title: Business Analyst / Relationship Manager
NOTE: This position is NOT remote and will be required to be on site full time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Analyst / Relationship Manager position is responsible for developing and reporting KPIs, KRIs, and other metrics associated with portfolio acquisition and performance, servicing activities, and other performance metrics. Additionally, this person is responsible for maintaining and trouble-shooting reports and working closely with the clients, management, and vendors in the interest of achieving overall company objectives. The position involves the application and enhancement of systems and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and good data and reporting governance.
This position will also be responsible for monitoring third party servicing vendors and portfolios to ensure collection goals are met. The position will also administer day-to-day operations of an auto dialer at our high-volume contact center. This position will be responsible for managing the predictive dialer system that controls the flow of outbound calls to customers. The analyst will also be responsible for providing client reporting, collaborating with line of business management, and developing call strategies to achieve overall business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Provide actionable insights through data analytics:
o Identify opportunities for growth, profit, cost savings, efficiency, etc. through deep analysis and understanding of company and industry data
o Develop dashboards, presentations, and other communications to share meaningful business insights to internal clients
· Develop and maintain essential reports for internal and external clients including:
o Client Servicing reports
o Portfolio Performance reports
o Ad hoc reporting as needed
· Proactively monitor and report relevant changes in acquisitions, servicing trends, credit performance and model performance
· Effectively summarize and communicate analytic analysis to collections and loss mitigation teams to support their ongoing needs and identify opportunities for improvement
· Monitor and correspond with loan servicing vendors. Maintain working relationships to ensure vendor compliance
· Examine reports for completeness, accuracy and conformity to specified requirements
· Responds to a variety of contracted vendors and internal employees in a timely and thorough manner.
· Resolve contract and other document issues through research and interaction with vendors, and external and internal partners
· Utilize various software systems to obtain, validate and enter document information.
· Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
· Perform daily uploads, downloads and importing
· Ensure and document outbound dialer activity
· Analysis of dialer-output data to identify potential problems/issues
· Create and update dialing campaigns, filters, strategies, and reports
· Generate, analyze, and present reports on loan servicing metrics to senior management
- Identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement within the loan servicing department
- Utilize data and facts to make informed decisions and recommendations.
· Complete other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in an analytic or business field (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, etc.) required, advanced degree or certification preferred, or may consider relevant experience in an auto lending analytic or relationship management position
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in an analytics/reporting role
· Experience in auto finance and/or credit industries with preference given to candidates with deep knowledge of auto lending, collections, and vender management
· Advanced SQL and Excel skills
· Experience with reporting/data analytics (Visual Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
· Detail oriented with strong technical skills, good judgment, problem solving skills and decision- making abilities
· Understanding of database-design principles, data structures and optimizations
· Critical thinking skills and the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
· Self-starter with strong time management and the capability to execute multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
· Ability to build rapport and relationships
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to concisely explain complex insights to a range of audiences
· Strong team player and comfortable interacting with partners across multiple teams and at varying levels of seniority.
· At least one year of experience in a call-center environment
· Knowledge of auto-dialer operation/concepts
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs
· Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
