Role: Automation Engineer
Our client, is a leading systems integrator specializing in automation and industrial controls.
As they continue to grow, they’re looking for skilled professionals to support them across all stages of system development—from factory floor PLC logic to data aggregation and the reports derived from that data. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experts in software development and process design.
We are seeking an Automation Engineer for exciting projects in the Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, and Specialty Chemical industries. This is an excellent opportunity to design and implement real-time controls and SCADA applications in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate technical requirements for customers
- Design and create innovative automation solutions for the manufacturing sector
- Collaborate with a skilled team throughout the entire system development lifecycle
- Apply strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues
- Program PLCs (Allen Bradley experience preferred)
Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- 4 years of experience in developing and implementing control automation systems
- Proficient knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and reporting systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client communication abilities
- Some travel required
On-the-job training for the software tools used will be provided, as necessary. While some travel may be required, it is minimal and typically limited to system installations and startups.
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
