What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time School Nurse position at Innovation Academy Charter School?
Innovation Academy Charter School seeks a part time nurse. Situated in Tyngsboro, MA (near the intersection of routes 3 and 495), IACS draws a diverse student body from neighboring districts, including Lowell, Dracut, and Chelmsford, as well as Tyngsboro. Our community represents 19 languages spoken, 38% students of color, 25% of students on special education plans, and a community of students and staff that identify as LGBTQ.
The part-time nurse helps support a comprehensive school health program for the assessment, evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of the health of IACS students. This position works under the supervision of our Head Nurse and provides nursing services for students and communicates with their families. This position will be a 0.6 FTE, which approximates 3 days/week. This position is eligible for benefits.
