We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and manage a team of engineers in support of our confidential client for a new water wells program. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget constraints. The Program Manager will drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with industry standards.

As a Program Manager at Innovation Consulting LLC, you will play a crucial role in driving our commitment to emotional intelligence, efficiency, and innovation, ensuring that we deliver positive outcomes for our clients and the communities we serve.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers in delivering projects for the new water wells program.
  • Oversee program and projects planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure that engineering solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to maintain project integrity.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.
  • Drive innovation in engineering processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare and present program-level status reports to senior management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering and project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the water utility and/or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, regulatory standards, and project management methodologies (agile/waterfall/scrum).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • PMP or PgMP certification, or similar project management credentials.
  • Experience with sustainability and environmental impact assessments in utility projects.
  • Experience with regulatory and permitting management.

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000

LOCATION:

  • Multiple office locations available: Bakersfield, Chico, Hawthorne, Los Altos, Salinas, San Jose, Stockton, Torrance, Visalia
  • This is a hybrid position, located at the district office nearest your location based on the locations above with some time working from home. Travel is expected 0%-10% of the time.
  • Remote work considered for the appropriate candidate.

MEDICAL:

  • Multiple plan options (HMO, PPO)

DENTAL:

  • Multiple plan options (DMO, PPO)
  • 50 state coverage.

VISION:

  • 50 state coverage.
  • California example insurers: EyeMed, Superior Vision, VSP

REIMBURSEMENT ACCOUNT:

  • HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) can be used for covering costs of plan premiums as well as point-of-service costs and copays
  • Benefit amounts for 2024 (12-month period):
  • Employee only: $3,200
  • Employee plus one: $5,200
  • Employee plus family: $7,200
  • All plans may carryover up to $5,000 to the next year

RETIREMENT PLAN:

  • 401K program with safe-harbor company matching contributions dollar-for-dollar up to 6% of employee contributions.
  • 401K program custodian with a history of high-performing funds.
  • Discretionary supplemental match each year.

PTO (PAID TIME OFF):

  • Holidays: Paid holidays for full-time employees, averaging 11 days per year.
  • Sick time: 40 hours per year accrued on a bi-weekly basis, carryover allowed to next year.
  • Vacation pay: accrued on a bi-weekly basis, carryover allowed to the next year.
  • Vacation accrual details based on years of employment with our firm:
  • 0-2 years: 2 weeks or 80 hours per year
  • 3-4 years: 3 weeks or 120 hours per year
  • 5 years: 4 weeks or 160 hours per year
