The Program Manager will drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and foster strong relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure successful project outcomes.

As a Program Manager at Innovation Consulting LLC, you will play a crucial role in driving our commitment to emotional intelligence, efficiency, and innovation, ensuring that we deliver positive outcomes for our clients and the communities we serve.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team in delivering regulatory and permitting services for the new water wells program.
- Oversee the program's compliance with federal, state, and local water utility regulations, ensuring permits and reports are accurate, timely, and complete.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to facilitate permitting processes and ensure project compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and compliance protocols to maintain project integrity and adherence to regulatory standards and schedule.
- Collaborate with legal and environmental teams to ensure all project activities meet applicable regulatory requirements and manage associated risks.
- Monitor regulatory updates and changes in water utility regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
- Prepare and present compliance reports and permitting status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive innovation in regulatory processes and identify opportunities to streamline permitting timelines and improve compliance efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between the company, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to resolve permitting issues and regulatory concerns.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in regulatory compliance, permitting management, or environmental law, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks for water utilities, environmental regulations, and permitting processes.
- Strong understanding of environmental assessments, impact analyses, and regulatory permitting in the water sector.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight regulatory deadlines.
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance management software and project management tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
- Certification in regulatory compliance management (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, CRCM) or similar credentials.
- PMP or PgMP certification, or similar project management credentials.
- Experience working with federal and state environmental protection agencies (e.g., EPA, state water boards).
- Experience managing sustainability and environmental impact assessments for utility projects.
- Experience coordinating with engineering teams.
COMPENSATION:
- Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000

- This is a hybrid position, located at the district office nearest your location based on the locations above with some time working from home. Travel is expected 0%-10% of the time.
- Remote work considered for the appropriate candidate.

- All plans may carryover up to $5,000 to the next year
RETIREMENT PLAN:

- Vacation accrual details based on years of employment with our firm:
- 0-2 years: 2 weeks or 80 hours per year
- 3-4 years: 3 weeks or 120 hours per year
- 5 years: 4 weeks or 160 hours per year
