Innovation Learning partners with schools to leverage valuable before and after school time to increase academic achievement. We have a unique opening for an individual who has experience working with children in grades K-5. The successful candidate must be passionate about working with children. Leadership experience is a plus. As an Area Director, you will be leading in an areas of South Kitsap. In your capacity, your full-time efforts will help lead our organization to stronger systems, processes, people management, and brand experience.
As an Area Director, for Innovation Learning, you will manage, administer, and execute human resource, recruiting and training, coaching, and programming facilitation. You will have demonstrated a servant-based leadership style that will provide a “way of being” to foster a supportive culture within your territory. You will build trust with all stakeholders within the organization and communicate frequently the needs of your team to your direct supervisor.

As such, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supervise and manage multiple extended learning program sites and summer camps.
- Facilitate staffing and hiring processes for all sites.
- Ensure teacher participation in training initiatives.
- Assist in site-based and classroom training for staff members.
- Schedule and supervise Site Coordinators at each location.
- Engage in all aspects of program administration.
- Ensure students' safety, enjoyment, and educational progress.
- Lead by example and actively participate in the program.
- Travel frequently to sites within your designated territory.
- Ensure the safety and licensing protocols are met.
- Review attendance and close our daily hours allocation for payroll each day.
- Ensure P&L and budgetary measures and objectives are monitored and achieved.
- Drive employee engagement and help promote a positive workplace.
- Other duties as prioritized by the organization’s needs.
- Meet monthly with administration/partners to provide programming updates and build relationships of trust.
- Participate in marketing activities that promote programming in a positive light within your community.
- Provide timely reports to your supervisor.
- Respond to stakeholders concerns within 24 hours and promote well-being for all parties involved.
- Consult the leadership team of needs, KPI’s and activities of your territory.
Your primary focus will be to ensure our brand is founded and grounded in excellence within your territory. This position requires travel. It might include overnight travel as needed. This position is a field-based position. It is a highly autonomous position that allows you to office from home, but you are expected to be onsite daily and be available to your team to visit, coach, mentor, and support with a hands-on approach to leadership. You will report to the Director and Assistant Director of Field Operations.
