Site Coordinator for Summer Camp

This is a part time position at a location in South Kitsap Schools.

We have a unique opening for an individual who has experience working with children in grades K-5. The successful candidate must be passionate about working with children. Leadership experience is a plus.

The position entails teaching and supervising in our Summer Camp program. This position involves working directly with students while participating in the administration of the program. In this role you will be:

- Supervising and assisting our children to deliver the Innovation Learning Model.

- Facilitating the summer program while also working directly with children

- Communicating with school administration and parents.

- Interacting with children to ensure they are having fun while they learn!

- Scheduling staff and overseeing program delivery.

- Must be able to pass required state/district background checks.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in an education and/or in a structured childcare setting, with a proven track record of effective team leadership.
• A Degree or in process of obtaining a degree in elementary education, teaching and/or a related field.
• CPR and First Aid Certificate (Innovation Learning will provide training on a regular and reoccurring basis for those in need).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
