MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load finished goods into shippers according to work order specifications.
- Load pallets according to customer specifications.
- Set up/operate/troubleshoot and maintain taping, shrink wrap and over wrap equipment.
- Pick out/sort product defects from production process.
- Inspect finished goods for quality issues and maintain high quality standards.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Accurate and timely recording of materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap, and excess on specified documents.
- Proper use and care of equipment and materials issued to work area.
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve the current processes.
- All other duties as assigned and needed.
- Good mechanical skills are a must.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instruction manuals.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure.
- Must have a good working knowledge of calculators and scales.
- Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day.
- Must wear personnel protective equipment.
- Must follow all SOP’s and cGMP requirements.
- Ability to follow all forms of instructions and directions, particularly work orders, safety, and company policies.
- The operator is required to understand and uphold high quality standards.
