Ensure that batch records and SOPs are being followed and completed.

Store and document all retention samples as well as monitor operations and quality assurance procedures to ensure the quality of the materials and final products in a dietary supplement manufacturing environment. Ensure that batch records and SOPs are being followed and completed.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Enforce safety and quality regulations.
- Review and sign all manufacturing/packaging batch records as well as product release.
- Generate customer Certificate of Analysis, store customer and Phoenix Formulations retention samples.
- Review and approve incoming raw material testing to ensure they are within specification.
- Manage the batch record document archive system including batch record close out in a timely manner, initiations, and retrieval of archived batch records.
- Responsible for inspection, sampling, supporting releases, releasing raw materials and products, and other activities to support the QA/QC operations departments.
- Adhere to all cGMP’s.
- Read the work orders and production schedules to determine product specifications, materials to be used, weights, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Record quality, operational and production data on specified forms.
- Provide information or indication of problems to Management or Quality Assurance.
- Reports to work regularly and on time.
- Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions.
- Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
- Mathematical Skills – Accuracy with arithmetic, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, percentages.
- Language Skills – Must be able to communicate complex concepts in English, verbally and in writing.
- Computer Skills – Must be able to use Microsoft Office, and other business related software.
- Skilled in monitoring, analyzing, critical thinking, and active listening.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, orientation to quality, problem sensitivity, and ability to take initiative.
- Knowledge of food production processing, cGMP’s, regulatory environments, and computer data entry.
