As our clinic grows again after the havoc from COVID, we are looking to rebuild our Physical Therapy Tech Staff. We are seeking passionate, client-service-focused, positive, and hard-working individuals with love for wellness and movement. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills whose focus is creating an environment responding to patients’ needs. DUTIES

• Assist patients with exercises
• Assist therapists with patients care and safety
• Maintain pool therapy equipment
• Place ice and water in chests for staff and patients and offer
• Input in exercises in flow sheets
• Watch patients for safety
• Walk patients to the restrooms when needed, i.e., fall risk
• Laundry
• Extra set of hands
• Assist with Balance Assessments
• Modalities i.e.. Electrical Stimulation, Ultrasound, Diathermy, Laser, Heat & Ice
• Kinesio Tape and so much more

STAFF OWNERSHIP

• Greeting, discovering, and being attentive to all patient needs.
• Assist and/or instruct patient in proper treatment position.
• Set up and prepare exercise equipment and observe the patient during treatment.
• Assist with the patient flow within the space as per the direction of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Ensure the workspace is prepared to serve clients in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Assist and motivate patients in exercise programs, as directed by the physical therapist.
• Clean linen daily, fold, and change linen as necessary, and help maintain neat and clean conditions.
• Inventory for therapy supplies, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by therapists or administrative support team.
• Abide by all facility and policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong interest in the physical therapy or medical field.
• College Degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Computer literate, experience with data-entry a plus.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time.
• Available to work the schedule and 2 Saturdays.
• Ability to perform under pressure and fixed time constraints.

· Monday 8:00 - 6:00

· Tuesday 9:00 - 5:30

· Wednesday 7:00/8:00 - 5:00

· Thursday 9:00 - 5:30

· Friday 7:00/8 - 4:00

· Saturday 8:00 - 1:00 -- 2 per month Paid $ 75 extra per Saturday

You will arrive 15 minutes prior to set up, you are responsible for closing 1-2 nights per week. You will come early on Wednesday or Friday but not both.
