Summary
This position is responsible for managing leading efforts to grow and sustain blood collection by overseeing a team of Account Managers focused on recruiting new partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners. This position will also be responsible for new account acquisition and existing account development with monthly and annual blood donation collection goals within the assigned market segment in the greater Omaha metro area. This position is critical in reaching blood collection targets through effective recruitment strategies and various tools and techniques. This position will work closely supervising and supporting the coordination of the first blood drive by building strong customer relationships and flawless execution. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset, excellent people management skills, and the ability to develop and execute plans to meet the organizational blood collection goals. Assists in day-to-day operations to achieve the collection goals and financial objectives of the department.

5 years’ experience in donor recruitment, sales, business development or marketing.
2 Years Of Managerial/supervisory Experience Required.
Experience in blood banking, healthcare, or nonprofit industry is highly desirable.

Primary Duties, Presponsibilities or Activities Required
- Manage, coach and mentor a team of Account Managers and Business Development Managers responsible for growth of new partnerships and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing partners.
- Leads the departments' staff in a team environment. Provides the staff with the resources necessary to achieve individual, departmental, and organizational goals.
- Assist with the hiring of new employees, training, mentoring and performance management.
- Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for the team members.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand blood drive sponsorship to expand new business and community partners in the Omaha metro and Iowa areas.
- Assists with budget and invoice processing functions for the department.
- Assists in the planning and coordination of the administrative activities for the department to include special recognition events for donors and chair people.
- Work closely with the collection management to align recruitment efforts with blood collection resources.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote team engagement and effectiveness
- Drive new account creation and growth through dynamic sales and marketing programs.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets while maximizing NYBCe’s resources.
- Uncover new business possibilities, seek out new accounts, and explore new market segments.
