We supply blood and blood components, state-of-the-art laboratory services, and biomedical expertise to area healthcare partners, national blood centers, biotechnology companies, research institutions, and international clients. Operating 10 donor centers and conducting hundreds of blood drives each month, we are proud to be an independent nonprofit that supplies over 30 area hospitals and more than a dozen air ambulances with life-saving bloodfrom our community, for our community.
Responsibilities : Summary :
The role involves overseeing the management of staff for 2nd shift Hopsital Services Representatives and Drivers, resources, and procedures essential for daily operations concerning processed blood products, encompassing labeling, storage, packaging, inventory control, distribution, and logistics. Additionally, it includes managing resources and processes associated with the transportation of samples and unprocessed blood products between locations. Collaboration with other departmental managers is crucial to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services and products to customers and patients.
This position is considered essential during severe weather or emergency operation events.
Schedule : Monday - Friday 10am - 6 : 30pm or 11am - 7 : 30pm. On call shared with other MBC Manager.

Job Responsibilities :
- Scheduling and Payroll
Schedules day to day operation and workflow for all shifts in HS. Tracks attendace.
Monitor and mentor team performances and provide constructive feedback.
Keeps Director regularly informed on quality, process, workflow or employee issues
Develops a system of error prevention / reduction in product distribution through staff involvement and the setting up of a monitoring system to measure overall performance. Administer policies and procedures to ensure an efficient and profitable operation that conforms to specified regulations.
Manages and Coordinates driving duties with Volunteer Services : scheduling, delivery routes, and donor center pick-up routes.
Scheduling mobiles and fixed site pickups and deliveries
Performs in day-to-day operations and daily review
Support department forecasting and planning activities.
Understands & promotes organizational vision & mission
Perform or Review required Monthly Maintenance
Assist in national and local market product contracts / resource sharing

Qualifications : Education :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent.
Experience :
5 years of experience in inventory, distribution or in a manufacturing or healthcare setting.
Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
Other :
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
