Job Description:

We are looking to add a Financial Consultant to join our Innovative Captive Strategies team in Waukee, IA or Dallas, TX. This team member will support the financial planning and analysis functions for captive clients, focusing on data analysis, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Running and analyzing monthly financial reports (MFSR), presenting complex reporting results, and participating in the development of financial reporting enhancements and new CLUE reporting.
  • Developing and enhancing client budget, financial, and clinical analysis tools, building and maintaining models to support client teams, and mentoring junior staff.
  • Recommends strategic and tactical initiatives based on data, runs and analyzes IBNR results, attends client meetings with occasional travel, and articulates the impact of market conditions and compliance regulations on client plans.
  • Project management for complex financial/reporting projects and performing special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years applicable experience, preferably in the insurance industry at a brokerage or provider organization.
  • Skills & Technical Competencies: Strong programming skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent project and time management skills, be able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively, and be willing to work extended hours or seek additional resources as needed. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning through participation in educational opportunities and pursuit of relevant designations or continuing education.
