The purpose of this position is to serve as the Budget Analyst Lead and will be responsible for enforcing work standards across the Budget & Business Operations Team delivering Project and Facilities Management Support Services for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Office of Asset and Facilities Management (OAFM) Facilities Management Division (FMD). The Budget Analyst Lead will be skilled in the areas of budgeting, finance, and business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
The primary responsibilities of the position will include but not limited to :
- Provides management, budget analysis and reporting.
- Prepares and routes funding documents for government approval and submission.
- Develops and processes Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWAs) through the ICE Program Centralized Funding or ICE Owned Portfolio construction budgets.
- Develops project approval packages and other necessary documents, secures approvals, tracks financial packages, and notifies ICE Project Managers of status.
- Prepares obligation documents, tracks, and coordinates financial obligations.
- Supports verification and validation of specific payables and assists with relevant reconciliation and de-obligation activities.
- Supports the Audit Readiness, Response and Remediation function through SOP updates, identification of process issues, and development of management action plans (MAPs).
- Acts for ICE in the daily operation, to further and achieve ICE goals, except where there are signatures and approvals needed
Requirements :
Full-time Hours : Monday-Friday between 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
Classification : Hybrid. Telework with client approval.
Pay Range : $175K - $200K annually
