We are seeking an experienced Facilities Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall execution of all tasks and requirements under the contract for buildings located in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Pearsall, and Victoria, TX. The Facilities Project Manager is considered essential to the work being performed and responsible for coordinating and management across a team of administrative, trades, and custodial personnel. The Contract Project Manager will oversee facility operations, maintenance, custodial, and support services while ensuring contract compliance, quality control, and effective communication with government stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the Contracting Officer (CO) or designee
- Knowledge and responsibility for managing and executing all contractual and financial aspects of the program, including reporting, quality control and safety
- Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance plan and ensure timely repairs
- Interpret contract documents, blueprints, and construction specifications
- Oversee a Quality Control Program, ensuring all inspections, scheduling, corrective actions and contract deliverables are met
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and performance expectations
- Attend tenant meetings and address building issues as needed
- Establish a Performance Plan to track, trend, and improve facility efficiencies, with a focus on meeting energy and utility goals
- Establish and manage to KPIs across all tasks
- Ensure safety compliance of all work performed by personnel, vendors, and subcontractors
- Support hiring, training, and talent management in alignment with requirements
- Maintain an outstanding work environment that fosters teamwork, accountability, and excellence in customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in operations and maintenance (O&M) or facilities management
- At least five (5) years of experience in project management or a supervisory role in facilities of comparable size and complexity
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance operations and contract management
- Experience in hiring, managing, and coordinating subcontractors and staff
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and manage contract documents
- Experience in Quality Control programs, including inspections and corrective actions
- Ability to analyze risks and implement mitigation strategies for daily operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fully conversant in English
- Knowledge and experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Experience managing federal facilities and multiple building locations
- Demonstrated experience using CMMS systems, preferably Maximo
- Prior trade experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Security Control Systems preferred
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable
- EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigeration Technician certification is a plus
- Must meet federal government security clearance standards, requiring at least a Public Trust background investigation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Travel: Must be willing to travel regularly between sites located in San Antonio, Corpus Christie, Pearsall, and Victoria, TX.
Full-time: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Salary: $110,000 per year
